CheapCover is an insurance enquiry and referral website. This notice applies to the personal information you submit using this website.
What we collect
We collect your name, mobile number, email address, selected product, optional message, chosen contact method, consent and the time of your enquiry. Please do not include identity numbers, financial account details or sensitive medical information in your message.
Why we use it
Your details are stored so CheapCover can respond to your enquiry. With your consent, we may share your enquiry with relevant insurance or medical scheme providers so they can contact you about the cover you requested. CheapCover may receive payment for a referral. We do not issue cover or give financial advice.
Your choice
Submitting an enquiry requires your consent to contact and relevant provider referrals. You can contact us directly to ask questions before submitting. You can withdraw consent to future contact, ask who received your information, or request access, correction or deletion, subject to applicable legal obligations.
Email and WhatsApp
Enquiries are saved before opening your email app or WhatsApp. You must send the prepared message in that app to deliver it directly. Email and WhatsApp are third-party services with their own privacy terms.
Storage and protection
Enquiry records are not publicly accessible. We use hosted services to process and store enquiries; processing may take place outside South Africa. We keep enquiry information for the enquiry and associated legal obligations. Contact us to discuss retention or request deletion.
